Austin County Commissioner Chip Reed has informed the city that construction of a new bridge on Chew Road is scheduled to begin Monday, January 20th. This will discontinue the path to 1458 from Chew Road as the bridge is located near the airport before the intersection of Chew and 1458. This construction will involve three to four months. Plan your travel in this area accordingly.
